#RiotingStudentsMustFall

To All Whom This May Concern

This open letter is written concerning the violent riots that are taking place at the universities around the Republic of South Africa by the students demanding “free tertiary education” with their #FeesMustFall campaign. History is repeating itself and the ANC/SACP government is greatly at fault for how the masses are acting! In times past the youth were encouraged to rebel against the wicked apartheid government and today they are rebelling against their very own wicked ANC/SACP government, too, for we can read in GOD’s Word,

2  When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. ~ Proverb 29:2

South Africans are mourning at present!

Do you notice the political war regalia being worn?

Holistic Education Diminished

Due to the South African ANC/SACP government removing from its school system the Holy Bible as the standard and true authority for holistic education, starting each day with prayer to the GOD of Creation YEHOVAH, Darwinian evolution which is the religion of atheism has taken the Holy Bible’s place and is now promoted and taught in our school systems as part of the curriculum to the young minds of this generation and the generations to come. Teaching the theory of evolution – which is not an observable science – is GOD-hating and a Marxist attack on the Creator, thus spreading lies that all of Creation that can be seen came into existence by millions and billions of years stemming from a “big-bang”, so the story goes. The atheistic attempt to remove GOD the Creator from the equation is promoting the lie that humanity evolved from an organism known as the “last universal common ancestor (LUCA)[1][2][3] which lived approximately 3.5-3.8 billion years ago,[4] although a study in 2015 found ‘remains of biotic life’ from 4.1 billion years ago in ancient rocks in Creation vs. EvolutionWestern Australia.[5][6]”. In all of this, I wonder how this gels with South Africa saying humanity started in their “Cradle of Humankind” where “in 1935, Robert Broom found the first ape-man fossils at Sterkfontein”.[7] This is the figment of deceived  imaginations of wretched mankind who sadly masquerade as teachers, lecturers, scientists and professors, and who tell the fanciful theoretical stories that man has over millions and billions of years evolved through the animal kingdom resulting in their nearest relatives being primates – also known as apes / monkeys!

The Truth of the matter is, for we read,

18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. ~ Romans 1:18-25

By diminishing the Truth into a bold-faced lie through the education department coupled with the outlawing of corporal punishment – for those who do not know, it was caning or lashes for ill discipline or failure to follow school rules and regulations and for not doing one’s homework or fighting at school – the government has created a disrespecting lawless generation of scholars. Scripture teaches the following,

13  In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. ~ Proverb 10:13

24  He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. ~ Proverb 13:24

15  Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. ~ Proverb 22:15

13  Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. ~ Proverb 23:13

14  Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. ~ Proverb 23:14

3  A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back. ~ Proverb 26:3

15  The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. ~ Proverb 29:15

UKZN campus arson destruction Where no discipline is you have the breeding of lawless delinquents. Whilst the government has enforced their man-made laws, the parents of this current generation of school and university students are responsible before GOD for how they have raised their children. Whilst many are pagan and heathen for not following after the One and Only True and Living GOD YEHOVAH (YHVH), it is for this very reason that they are not GOD fearing and therefore they are not educating their children according to GOD’s Word, for

7  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. ~ Proverb 1:7

10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. ~ Proverb 9:10

10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. ~ Psalm 111:10

This generation is not GOD fearing, but a government-created generation of reprobates who will go to Hell if they should die in their wretched sin (lawlessness)(see 1 John 3:4) and on Judgment Day they will be eternally condemned to the lake of fire which is the second death (see Revelation 20:14), unless they have their “. . . repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21). For it is written,

27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: ~ Hebrews 9:27

Dumbed-down Standard of Education

The University of KwaZulu Natal Pietermaritzburg campus resembles a war zone again this evening after students erupted in violent and disruptive protest. This in turn led to police and security tear gassing the students The school education system has been downgraded, and the standard of the pass rate and tertiary education qualifications have also been lowered. In the past (pre-1994), in order to obtain a university entrance you had to pass Matric (Standard 10, now Grade 12) with distinctions in your subjects at the Higher Grade level. This was applicable in writer’s Matric year in 1982, and although he passed he did not qualify for a university entrance. If you just scraped through your Matric year, you would most probably not be seeing the inside of the university lecture rooms.

Dare writer say, post-1994 students with the present minimum requirements to obtain a university entrance, bearing in mind the pass rates were of a higher standard of education, being either the Higher Grade or the Standard Grade levels, these were the applicable grades:

  • A = 90% – 100% (Distinctions)
  • B = 80% – 89%
  • C = 70% – 79%
  • D = 60% – 69%
  • E = 50% – 59%
  • F = 40% – 49%
  • FF = 35% – 39%
  • G = 30% – 34%

Using this yesteryear system of grading for possible university entrance, it is ridiculous to think that you can qualify to study for a Higher Certificate with a minimum “G” grade in the language of learning and teaching, a Diploma with a minimum “F” grade and a Bachelor’s Degree  with a minimum “E” grade![8]

South Africa should be ashamed of this standard of higher education! Ha – what a joke. Further, many who are shouting the odds as so-called “Student Representatives” for “Free Education” are by their hateful devilish rhetoric inciting violence, lawlessness and anarchy! This is what can be expected from a society lacking the reverence and fear of GOD, morals and proper education! If representatives are making their anarchist violence a racial-thing again demanding “decolonised education” then they should start by decolonising themselves with the benefits of westernised / colonial homes, cell-phones, vehicles, clothing, straight-hair and eye-lashes, money-systems like banks, internet and computers, medicines and hospitals, sciences, architecture, engineering, law degrees, writing utensils, books and encyclopaedias, water and electricity infrastructure, etc., etc. And remember Universities and employment are colonial practices!

Tertiary Education is a Privilege

Whilst at the PMB campus, the William O’Brien residence was torched early last week. Tertiary education is NOT a must – it is a privilege. First the student must excel at school to gain a university entrance pass with distinction passes. Then if he/she has money to pay for the degree they can make an application to enrol. If you have no money then you take out a loan or get a bursary to enrol, or as applicable at present the promising poorer students can obtain financial aid from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). If you still have no money you go out and get a job (well this worked well in the past). Today there are highly qualified students with LLB Law Degrees, B.Proc Degrees and the like who cannot even be employed due to a lack of jobs, which includes a majority of “born-free” matriculants in the job-seeking market. No jobs you might say. Well sign up with SAPS and fight crime and arrest the students burning down the universities in vandalism and arson or do some national service with the SANDF and you will be able to get an education through them!

In The Witness newspaper dated October 5, 2016, the following was reported:

NSFAS [National Student Financial Aid Scheme] has supported more than 1,6 million students from poor backgrounds, most of whose parents had never seen the door of a university or college. This year alone, NSFAS is dishing out R14,2 billion to support more than 200 000 students at universities.

The minister [Blade Nzimande] said the exemption of NSFAS-qualifying students and the so-called “missing middle” from fee hikes would cover about 75% of university students.

So if this is true, it appears that there is financial aid being offered to assist with tertiary education fees for the poorer students, but no, they all want free tertiary decolonised education. Which brings us to the point of many who are crying for free education yet they are from privileged backgrounds where they have attended private schools. Here are the Top 10 of SA’s most expensive schools[9]:

SCHOOL BOARDING PUPIL DAY PUPIL
1. Hilton College, KZN R219 500 N/A
2. Michaelhouse, KZN R208 320 N/A
3. St. Andrews College, EC R199 140 R88 950
4. Roedean School for Girls, GP R196 539 R107 670
5. Kearsney College, KZN R195 800 R134 800
6. St. John College, GP R194 231 R115 067
7. St. Andrew’s School for Girls, GP R189 830 R102 400
8. St. Martins, GP R184 460 R112 000
9. Bishops, WC R184 120 R105 520
10. St Stithians, GP R181 693 R104 770
— Maritzburg College, KZN R95 230 R38 330
— Afrikaanse Hoer Seunskool (Affies) R62 765 R31 760

So, let me understand this. All the children who attend at just these top 10 most expensive schools (plus Maritzburg College and Affies to show the affordability) cannot afford University Fees? Are you saying, most of the matriculants who attend expensive schools do not attend university? If the violence continues in the universities, the only true losers will be the truly poor students who do want an education. Should the universities close, the rich will just use their wealth and send their children abroad for education, both in schools and universities.

Free Education Will Not Work

Firefighters extinguish the fire at the William O'Brien Res at UKZN Pietermaritzburg campus on 26 September 2016. Image by: Yasantha NaidooFree education will not work. If free education is given students will not have the drive to truly excel. As it is at present we have many, not all, undereducated students taking on higher tertiary education. Whilst writer did not attend university to study, he surely did attend university frat parties! Nothing has changed. Varsity students party hard and this behaviour is commonly seen in and around the UKZN Pietermaritzburg precinct. Giving university students free education will create even more irresponsible students who spend their parents’ money on luxuries such as fashionable hair-extensions, clothing, night-clubbing, parties, alcohol and drugs. Even recently during a police raid at the UKZN residences marijuana was found on campus! “No fees” will create a mentality for students to flunk without any consequences. It is worrisome that the students’ attitudes could degenerate to: “If I fail so what! Someone else is carrying my costs!” Many already have this attitude and are busy flunking. With the present lack of respect for authorities – lecturers, police, security, the government and your neighbour (fellow man) – and a lack of respect for other peoples’ property, it is clear that the students who are engaging in violent, lawless acts are criminal and a menace to society with hatred and murder in their hearts. It can also be expected that lectures will be skipped with no consequences to parents paying hard-earned cash, for it all will be free. Students won’t feel it in their own pockets when they mess around and they will be even less accountable to their parents. In fact the parents should thrash their revolting children and get them back to their studies!

At Howard College in Durban, the law library and a nearby cafeteria were burnt down.Having “free tertiary education” will certainly create a hive of slothfulness where students will make the university campuses their place of lazing-about (which is already the practice for many) at someone else’s’ expense; guaranteed at the taxpayers’ expense! There will not be the need to complete one’s studies and go seek employment, so how will the universities police the number of students in attendance. The lecturers who are siding with these rogue students cannot even think clearly as to how this will all pan out and who is to pay their salaries or pay for the chemicals, for example, in practical science lessons. Nothing comes cheap! South Africa, a once prospering nation, can ill afford more fiscal burdens as this country teeters one level above “junk status” – the equivalent of insolvent Zimbabwe!

Surely, if university students want “free education” then they should also be willing to work for free if and when they eventually find employment! I am sure they will not! Like in life, you want something of worth, you need to pay for it. Nothing is for mahala! Wise up!

The Judicial system is failing

SAPS enforcing law and Order The violent arson destruction of university and public property that presently runs far in excess of R600-million nationally needs to be recovered some way. Those responsible for the vandalising and destruction of property should be brought to book to repay the repair costs or, at the least, do jail time. The old adage: “You do the crime, you do the time” should be enforced. The judicial system, especially in the Gauteng province, is failing the law-abiding citizenry of South Africa by allowing, in certain cases, arrested students to be released with a mere warning. This is preposterous! The judicial   system is sending these criminals straight back into the battle to fight another day. However, the Pietermaritzburg courts have detained – at the last count – eighteen UKZN students in custody without bail. It is yet to be  seen what the outcome of these cases will be. We do pray for true justice to be done with jail time for violent arsonists, that a clear succinct judicial order will be sent out that lawlessness will not be tolerated! However, do not hold-your-breath for the UKZN has a restraining order in place that is being violated daily by rebelling students!

Further, whilst a court session was in progress regarding the bail for the UKZN students, witchcraft was Impepho customtaking place outside the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court with students “summoning the ancestral spirits by burning impepho”. Scripture is very clear that no person is to consult with the dead in necromancy. We read,

10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. ~ Deuteronomy 18:10,11

GOD has made only One to be a mediator, as we read,

5  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; ~ 1 Timothy 2:5

GOD calls this an abomination and people dealing with ancestral spirits in witchcraft will receive Hell fire unless they repent towards GOD! Also the “protestant churches” that have aligned themselves with supporting violent student protestors are nothing but harlot daughters of the great Harlot Roman Catholic “church” as we can read: “. . . MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (see Revelation 17:5).

“Peaceful” Demonstrations

The students have a right to “peaceful” demonstrations according to the South African Constitution, which should however not infringe upon the rights of others. That would include the students who do not want to engage in protest to continue unhindered with their studies which have been paid for in order for them to write their examinations and possibly obtain their degrees. They have constitutional rights too. Disrupting lectures will inevitably have a knock-on effect where if the academic year cannot be completed this year, the courses will have to be done next year at further costs. Have the riotous students ever stopped to think (if that is possible) that by destroying the university campuses their unlawful actions will eventually result in no place to study and obtain any degrees or diplomas for this current generation and the following generations to come. The riotous students do not care about the wellbeing of the upcoming matriculants who would want to enrol in the next academic year come January 2017 for there will probably be no places available for them, let alone a place of learning. Your barbaric actions are impinging upon the rights of others. Not only are the students being affected, but so is the man on the street who has the right to move about unhindered without being pelted with bricks or having to run a gauntlet avoiding violent acts and having his property vandalised.

It would appear from the much media footage that there appears to be sinister third forces orchestrating these protests. The student representatives are inciting violence, lawlessness and intimidation against students that want to get on with their studies and their lives. If the protests were conducted in a peaceful manner no law enforcement with shotguns, rubber bullets, stun grenades and teargas would be needed.

For he beareth not the sword in vain

There is a Biblical mandate that GOD commands in His Word concerning the government using force to maintain law and order, where we read,

1  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4  For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5  Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. ~ Romans 13:1-5

Protesting students confronting SAPS' Law Enforcement Officers This particular portion of Scripture deals with government authority. We also read in Daniel 2:20-22, as it is written: “20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” Whilst governments are generally evil and wicked in their dealings, the evil and wickedness of men cannot be ascribed to a holy, perfect and good Creator GOD. And whilst we read in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” we still are commanded to be subject unto the higher powers (the government). We can see that the government does not bear the sword in vain for those that keep the law, but for the lawless. Back in the first century A.D. the authorities had swords, but nowadays in this context they bear shotguns, firearms, bullets (metal and rubber), stun grenades and teargas. The “lawbreaking reprobate students” are those who do evil in the aforementioned Romans’ portion of Scripture.

VIDEO: SAPS justify legal restraint

The SAPS are not engaging in “police brutality” as the wretched rioting students claim, for they are enforcing the law for which they have been employed to do, who should be righteous ministers of GOD. If anyone takes the law into their own hands and physically assault and throw life-endangering projectiles at Law Enforcement Officers then you can expect to meet force with force. Jesus gives a stern warning in Matthew 26:52, “. . . for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” The police never instigated the outbreak of violence, arson and destruction. If you keep the law, no harm will come to you. Act in a devil-possessed manner which is evil, then expect the full might of the law to come down on you!

VIDEO: Clashes at UKZN Pietermaritzburg Campus

Some of the Molotov cocktails and petrol found at at UKZN’s Pietermaritzburg’s Malherbe residence on Thursday. (Supplied) In The Witness dated October 7, 2016, it is also reported that ‘Molotov Cocktails’ – a Russian-Franco Communist weapon of origin used by the ANC during the Apartheid years – and petrol was located in the UKZN Pietermaritzburg Malherbe’s residence (pictured above). This is why the revolting students want the campus security and SAPS removed from campuses. It is so they can engage in lawlessness and anarchy! How much longer must this violence A student is injuredcontinue? Until someone loses their life? If these violent protests continue then the government needs to implement a State of Emergency and get the military involved and arrests need to be made rounding up all illegal anarchist protestors! This is a situation waiting to implode! If the students cannot act in a civilised manner then the powers that be should shut all universities until such time that law and order is established. However, this is what the third forces would want, an age-old communistic ploy to create mayhem and then order out of chaos, from the Latin ORDO AB CHAO.

If these rioting students are the “leaders” of tomorrow, I fear for this nation and for their souls. #RiotingStudentsMustFall

Soli Deo Gloria

On the UKZN (Pietermaritzburg) Campus

A while ago whilst we were out on Church Street evangelising during our lunch break, Mark McDonogh was approached by a young African man named Mpho and his girlfriend. They enquired why we were on the streets and Mark explained to them that we were evangelising and he also witnessed to them. Regardt Reynolds, Neville le Roux and myself were out with Mark that day, and later Mark told us that the two persons he spoke to were Seventh-Day Adventists from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg) Campus. They had asked him to bring a team of evangelists to the campus to show them how to evangelise the way we do and to be a part of the outreach they would be undertaking.

We agreed, and made them aware that we would gladly attend to preach the Law and the Gospel of Grace. This not only gave us an opportunity to witness to many students – and yes we also have the atheists / agnostics who believe in evolution here in South Africa, too – but it was an answer to prayer as we had been hoping to get on campus someday. We also told the ministry leader Mpho, who was hosting us, that we would not be there under their denomination. We were there to preach Jesus Christ and uplift His Holy Name.

That day arrived on Tuesday September 8, 2009 and we had some wonderful God-given conversations with many students. Although we never had a full-time cameraman available, you will get the feel of a day well spent preaching the Gospel on campus for the first time by us newbies.

Please check out the following link from the website CARM why Seventh-Day Adventism is a cult religion / denomination. Their doctrine is not biblical in all respects according to the inerrant infalliable Word of God.

Please pray for the Adventists that they will come to repentance and faith in the only true and living God – Jesus Christ as both Lord and Saviour.
