The Truth be Told

Wide Is The Gate: The Emerging New Christianity

Important Notice

1 – 17 JUNE 2012

A Call for Discernment
Peter warned his readers and indeed us today that  “false teachers will be among you who will secretly introduce destructive heresies” and  they “will make merchandise out of you”  (2 Peter 2:1-3).  Many of today’s false teachers can be found in what is more commonly referred to as the Health and Wealth or, Prosperity gospel.  Popular American prosperity preachers such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, TD Jakes, and Joel Osteen are attempting to redefine Biblical Christianity by teaching dangerous doctrines that distort the Gospel and enrich themselves at the expense of the poor, the desperate, the sick, and the widows.

Critical Questions
These false teachers have provided a dangerous model for many African preachers to follow and they too are leading many astray.  Can we really speak things into existence?  Did Jesus die spiritually?  Are we little gods? Should people be slain in the Spirit?  Is it always God’s will to be healed?  If a person is not healed is it because of a lack of faith?  Do signs and wonders authenticate the Gospel?  What is the true Gospel?

Coming Soon to South Africa
You are invited to attend a seminar entitled A Call for Discernment presented by Justin Peters, as he explores all these questions and many more from a Biblical perspective.  A Call for Discernment includes dozens of video clips from today’s prominent prosperity preachers. The Word of God is then expounded to counter-act their claims and teachings.

Discernment Seminar
Come and learn Biblical truth and be equipped to “speak the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15) to those caught up in these false doctrines and gospels.

Watch a promo with extracts from the Call for Discernment Seminar here.

A Call for Discernment Seminar – Endorsements
Dr John MacArthur, Pastor of Grace Community Church, Los Angeles, USA:

“The dangers of the Word of Faith Movement are as real as they are pervasive.  The message from thousands of pulpits is that God wants you to be happy, healthy and rich.  But this is not Biblical Christianity, as Justin Peters so adequately demonstrates in his exceptional presentation. With clarity and credibility, Peters exposes the Word of Faith Movement for what it really is – a farce.  Local churches will benefit greatly from his personal experience and vast research on this important topic.”

Pastor Rod Bunton, Grace Church, Tallahassee, Florida, USA:

“Justin Peters is exceptional. He is well prepared, well researched and articulate.  His seminar presentation provides excellent documentation exposing the Word of Faith teachers who prey on both unsuspecting believers and non-believers.  Our church came away from these sessions knowing we had been Biblically equipped to respond to these heresies.”

Dr Paul Mitchell, Director – Martin Lloyd-Jones Recordings Trust, UK:

“No one with even the most rudimentary knowledge of Scripture can fail to be appalled by the utter nonsense being propagated by the Word of Faith or Prosperity Gospel celebrities, whose shows dominate ‘Christian’ television.  Tragically, numerous people are walking the road to perdition by trusting the false gospel of these charlatans, rather than being obedient to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I urge all Christians to attend one of the Justin Peters’ A Call for Discernment seminars, which are being used of God to rescue many from error and apostasy.”

Be like the Bereans
Believers need to imitate the noble Bereans in Acts 17:11 who:  “searched the Scriptures daily to find out if these things [taught by Paul] were so.” In our case, we need to evaluate the things taught by the Word of Faith teachers in the light of Scripture.

“For there are many ….. idle talkers and deceivers… whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.” Titus 1:10-11

Paul warned the church elders against false teachers (“savage wolves”) coming into the church “speaking perverse things to draw away disciples” Acts 20:29-31.

Paul’s warned in 2 Cor 11:4-5 against false teachers who “preach another Jesus” and a “different gospel.”

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine….and will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.”  2 Tim 4:3 – 4

Paul urged his readers to guard the unity of the church:  “Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” Rom 16:17-18

The “Ten Grand” Question Tract

Monster Energy Drink

An e-mail received. Do not be duped into thinking these things are harmless. Are you or your children wearing these signs? Much more will follow …

— ooo —

Monster Energy 666 Tue, 11/02/2010 – 10:45am |   Pop Culture Pastor Most people are probably unaware that Monster Energy drink hails Satan with it’s logo.

The three lines that seem to make up the letter M are actually three Hebrew letter Vav’s – which have a numerical value of 6.

The thing I find the most disturbing about all of this is the fact that it is so sublime.

It’s like THEY are trying to trick you into having these symbols in your possession – because they know you wouldn’t want it if you knew what it meant. If Monster started using the logo below, I’m pretty sure sales would drop. Now their slogan takes on a slightly different meaning…

There’s The Eye – with a 666 Vav, Vav, Vav right on it.

Rev. 13: 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Look at the pics below and realize they are intentionally and covertly getting people to wear the mark of the beast.

Remember – THEY don’t use these symbols for no reason. Listen to what the famous Wiccan, Starhawk has to say about it: In the world of the occult, many symbols are imbued with power by the magician working in conjunction with the demonic spirit world. To cast a spell is to project energy through a symbol. Projecting energy through symbols??? We’re under spiritual warfare, friends! THEIR biggest weapon is that most don’t even know they are under attack. THEY are using witchcraft against the masses on a scale so broad that it encompasses everything and most can’t see it all for what it truly is. Go for the narrow path and escape the trap!
