2012 Royal Agricultural Show – Day 7

Today started off with a light drizzle which cleared some and this was a day the Lord had made and we rejoiced in it. We started by reading large portions of Scripture – me Job 38-42 and Brother Lungisa Luke 2-6 – and we preached the Gospel of our Great God and Saviour of the world, pleading that this generation will turn from their evil and wicked ways of sinning against their Creator God.

We had some derogatory comments made against the Gospel today. We know:

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. ~ 1 Corinthians 1:18

And there are blessings and rewards, too:

11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. ~ Matthew 5:11, 12

This was yet another day of various schools attending the Show and we request that you please keep the following groups of people in prayer for them to come to know the Truth by faith in the Person of our risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ:

  • The school children and their teachers from Sbongamandla Primary School;
  • The school children and their teachers of Mbanjwa Primary School from Sweetwaters; and
  • The many other pupils and their teachers that was present – particulars unfortunately not obtained.

Lungisa also showed a large group of school children the Curved Illusion as he warned them that as the eyes can deceive you, so can your hearts. He briefly presented the Gospel which was recorded on video to be shown later.

We also received numerous text messages on the 29th May – Day 5 – on my cell phone where the unnamed party quoted Scripture where in the sender’s limited understanding says that the Bible contradicts itself. We will deal with these issues under a separate blog posting that will need some time to put together. We have the answers to the so-called “contradictions”.

This morning at 0844 whilst we were preparing to go reach lost souls for Christ Jesus, an e-mail titled “More about Jesus” was received (only viewed by me this evening) from a man named Eddy Crankshaw with an attachment – The Watchtower dated April 1, 2012. This is obvious in response to one of our Gospel Tracts handed out to him. I am thankful that this has been sent to me as it appears to set out mostly what they believe in which will also assist us in picking it apart and showing the JWs their heretical teachings. In this book, the big one is the JWs refute Jesus is God! Stay tuned as we deal with these issues and teach Truth from God’s Word.

In closing, many other Show visitors received a Gospel Tract to examine themselves in light of God’s Truth. We thank our Father in Heaven for yet another day where He glorified Himself. We were mere vessels in His Hand.

2012 Royal Agricultural Show – Day 6

This was another glorious day our Lord had given us to reach the masses with the Gospel of peace. It was a day when my heart went out to seeing many mentally challenged retarded children and adults.

Please keep the following groups of people in prayer for them to come to know the Truth by faith in the Person of our risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ:

  • The school children and their teachers from Mfundwenhle Primary School;
  • The patients and staff members from the Fort Napier Mental Hospital;
  • The student boys from the Weston Agricultural College;
  • The children, teachers and minders from the Peter Pan Special School;
  • The children and adults, and their minders from the Sunfield Home for the mentally challenged in Howick; and
  • The Indian pensioners that travelled up from Phoenix near Durban.

Many other Show visitors received a Gospel Tract to examine themselves in light of God’s Truth. We thank our Father in Heaven for yet another day where He glorified Himself. We were mere vessels in His Hand.

2012 Royal Agricultural Show – Day 5

Day five of the Show, but day four of our evangelism was a day mostly set aside for scholars and pensioners. Bus loads of youngsters and senior citizens came to the Royal Show and received a Gospel Tract and God’s Word in mini sermonettes. And all praise to God, the second security official, named Frederick, who was called to confront us because we were disturbing the Sunday 27th visitors to the Show by the reading and preaching of God’s Holy Word, walked by me this morning and said: “No complaints today!” And that was how it remained the rest of the day – handing out Gospel Tracts and preaching the Word of God in small groups and one-on-one witnessing where only two days ago we were most unwelcome to be on “their” pavement! We thank God our Father for His favour!

Please keep the following persons and groups of people in prayer for them to come to know the Truth by faith in the Person of our risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ:

  • The school children from the autistic and mentally challenged Open Gates Special School in Boom Street, Pietermaritzburg and their teachers and minders;
  • The school children and their teachers who attended from the schools known as Gert Maritz, Maritzburg Christian School (MCC), Scottsville Primary School, St Johns’ Diocesan College for Girls; and some others;
  • The senior citizen pensioners from the Northdale Indian community who were bussed in by two buses and a mini-bus. This group had some Christians and also many Hindus in it;
  • The security guards at the Royal Show including Frederick;
  • The normal day visitors who also came in their droves (The Witness newspaper on Monday estimated that over 30,000 people attended on the weekend alone);
  • The Hindus and Muslims who have freely taken our Gospel Tracts – and even those who after taking one refused the material and came back to hand it back to us;
  • Raymond Dold, a friend who attended the same school as me back in the early eighties, Alexandra Boys’ High School and later we worked together also at the Master of the High Court (formerly Supreme Court). He needs much prayer since he has been mixed up in teachings of much heresy and unbiblical doctrines, among others including that there are three Gods and not One God. The lie he has been taught is that there is the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, plus he says there are three other Gods – The God of Israel, The God of Judah and the God of [could not get it – it sounded demonic]. I tried to explain to him that the God of Israel and Judah is the one and the same God, but to no avail. He has been mixed up with the New Apostolic teachings and even believes that he is an apostle that wages war against the demonic forces using the shield of Christ! And that we must have a double anointing in our heads – I called Raymond out that he is living a lie and must get out of all these demonic teachings he is being subjected to. Please keep him in prayer.
  • A white male, about late forties to fifties who is an ex-christian who converted to Islam. I believe he was never a true Christian to start with as he says he converted because the Bible is full of contradictions. He obviously did not have the Holy Spirit to teach him all Truth. He wanted me to show him from the Bible that our Lord Jesus Christ is God Almighty, not using man’s words (as he put it) like Paul, Peter, etc. and I could not use John 14:6 –

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

But I showed him 2 Peter 1:20, 21 ~

20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

And then I showed him from the Scriptures:

John 10:30 – I and my Father are one.

John 1:1, 14 – 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 Timothy 3:16 – And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1 John 5:7 – For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (This man said this is not in the Bible – I told him it is because I showed him from the faithful King James Bible in my hand, but agreed that this verse is omitted in many of the latest perversions of the bible)

John 20:28, 29 – 28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

He did challenge me that he would get the Islam teachers and imams and they will rent out the Pietermaritzburg City Hall at their expense and challenge the teachings of the Bible, with us given half an hour to prove our Lord Jesus Christ is God and He said worship Me! Then they will have an opportunity to answer. He asked for my number so I gave him the Gospel Tract with it on the back – he then left – we now wait and see. Please pray for God our Father to open this door, if He wills.

We thank our Father in Heaven for yet another day where He glorified Himself. We were mere vessels in His Hand.

2012 Royal Agricultural Show – Day 3

On day three Sunday 27th we approached the waiting queues of people and gave them the “Are You Ready?” Gospel Tract to start off the day. Brother Lungisa then opened our day on the streets of Pietermaritzburg outside Gate 2 and preached an anointed sermon addressing man’s sin and the Grace God offers the sinner through our Lord Jesus Christ with much Scripture validating the mercy of God from His Holy Word!

I then read from the Gospel of John, chapters 14 through 20, to the droves of people piling in to “worship” man’s wares and activities on this Sunday. Many heard the Word of God proclaimed and then a self-confessing atheist heckled the preacher (one other woman had also heckled brother Lungisa calling the Word *#%^ during his preaching) and said he is an atheist. He was reminded that God does not believe in atheists as He knows He exists, but that this man will stand before the God of Creation that he now mocks. Some time thereafter, we were approached by a female security officer that told us we have no right to be preaching outside the Show Grounds. We did advise her that we are on public property, the pavement, which is not under Show Grounds’ jurisdiction. Well she threatened me with further action and sent out another security official who I reasoned with that we need to be advised of which law we are transgressing. We were told that we were upsetting their visitors to the Show. We advised them that we were just warning them of a Day of Judgment that they will appear at. I also advised the second official that the government has given us a constitution that allows freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of movement and freedom of religion. To let others enjoy their so called freedoms and impose restrictions on us would be going back to the dark days of apartheid where we are being victimised now by restrictions. I did also advise the official that we had been here since Friday – now the third day – and no one has told us we cannot be here, in fact an official manning the gate on Saturday even said he is ‘one of us’ when I handed him a Gospel Tract. I asked to see this man, but he never arrived, but the chief of security who mentioned that he is a Christian, but told us we have no right to be occupying the pavement as the pavement belongs to the Show Grounds during the event days. I respectfully pointed out, at no time arguing aloud, that if we paid R45.00 to get into the Show we would most probably be welcomed to walk on these pavements and enter the Show premises, but because we are now reading the Bible we are not welcome here. This is a double standard. The chief official then said if we are still going to stay then he will have to contact the municipal police, although during our much discussion we had also pointed out that the traffic officials and SAPS Mounted Police Squad had at no time told us we were in violation of any law and they have seen us preaching for two and a bit days. Well we waited, and waited, and continued to wait, and no municipal police arrived. We do believe God moved in this situation, for which we thank and glorify Him! Sometime later we departed and went to another pre-arranged event.

At the Thembalihle Street Soccer event, the games only kicked-off at about midday, we arrived and I had a conversation with a man named Albert, a bricklayer by trade, who attends a local Roman Catholic church and who enjoys his beer. Lungisa also took some photographs of the games in progress and engaged some men in conversation. In a while, the situation started to get somewhat intimidating to me since the Gospel was now not the main topic of discussion between Albert and me, but whether I had money for him and other points of discussion. At one point I felt isolated, the only white man in this part of the township, and there appeared to be four men hedging me in, getting very close to my person. I was asking God to protect me and He gave an opportunity as I asked for a gap and went through it towards Lungisa who was standing with Gerald Jackson, a friend who invited us to this event. I said to Lungisa I am not comfortable being here and feel intimidated especially with all the alcohol that was being drunk, but the deciding factor was when I smelt the aroma of dagga. I know what these vices can do, being a wretched man who came out of the same evils, then sensing the moving of the Holy Spirit, I said I want to leave now. A few minutes later and we left. While we handed out some Gospel Tracts and spoke to a few men, we also should heed the need to be wise and discerning of certain situations. Even the apostle Paul (Saul) escaped being killed by being let down by the wall in a basket in Damascus to flee to Jerusalem (see Acts 9:23-25). I don’t know what would have happened to me personally – be killed? Be robbed? Maybe not that extreme, but I do believe the Holy Spirit lead me away. Another eventful day to the Glory of God!

Monday 28th May would be a rest day.

2012 Royal Agricultural Show – Day 2

This morning brother Lungisa Zondi and I arrived at the main entrance at Gate 2 about twenty-to-nine, while the early crowd was already queuing quiet a distance. When we parked the vehicle and were making our way to our preaching spot two vehicles met with an accident at an intersection. Slight damage to both vehicles, possibly some damaged pride, but thankfully no injuries; but this allowed an early morning transition into the handing out of Gospel Tracts and the preaching of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I related to the two occupants waking up this morning not thinking that they would have an accident today, which also is what most people do not think about that they too could meet with death when they least expect it. So, “Are You Ready? …..”

Lungisa pointed out later, after I preached to the long, long line of people and gave those willing to take tracts, by zooming in on one of the pictures that a women that took a tract from me was one of the drivers of the vehicles that had the collision and I had said to her, “What if you die today?” There is no ways I could have known who the second party was, as I had handed a tract to the one lady and then hurried away to the queuing people and never noticed the second party – this could only have been the ordering of our footsteps by God Almighty! What are the chances of any person doing that? We rejoice in God’s Ways.

We also participated in the ‘Project Ezra’ Sermon on the Mount Saturday reading of Matthew 5-7, which became the standard of the rest of the day with brother Lungisa reading large portions of Scripture during the hours that followed. This was a truly blessed time of Preaching the Word.

Shortly before 11am the Show officials closed a perimeter gate that we stand by to prevent further access by the people arriving as the entrance price would be increased from R45.00 to R60.00 to compensate for the music concert starting at 5pm. Lungisa and I thanked our Father as this allowed a backed up queuing of people on the sidewalk for about 200 meters and an opportunity to hand out Gospel Tracts, and preach to the line of people. And yes, in this mass of people there had to be an atheist that showed his foolishness of not believing that there is a God – he proved Psalm 14:1 to be correct!

This was yet another wonderful God glorifying day of presenting the Gospel of Truth and pointing people to our Lord Jesus Christ. Many heard, many received the Word of God and many are without excuse – in fact they had no excuse before they even arrived there today (see Romans 1:18-23 – and there were many Christians bold enough to thank us aloud! This is not about us, but all about God. We had some interesting conversations, too. We also thank our Father God for allowing many, many Hindus and Muslims to take His Son’s Word from us in literature form and we do pray that this Word will go into their houses and the Holy Spirit will bring conviction to many of their family members.

To the latter end of the afternoon Lungisa and I ‘tag-teamed’ as we alternated reading aloud Psalms randomly – Psalm 1, 2, 7, 19, 24, 23, etc… at our ‘pulpits’ either side of the gate.

Here are some photos of today’s evangelism – Album.

Please keep all those who received the Word of God today in prayer and also please pray for us. Please also pray for some Christians who want to correct our doctrine, yet their first priority would seem to be to come and ‘enjoy’ the Show! There appears to be at times so many ‘experts’ on evangelism and the Scriptures, but they fail to lead by example. James 1:22 says ~

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. ~ Luke 10:2

2012 Royal Agricultural Show ~ Day 1

Today was the first day of the Royal Agricultural Society Show (and this day was also ‘Africa Day’ which wasn’t even noticed!). I arrived early after fetching 20,000 “Are You Ready?” Gospel Tracts from the printers at about 08H30 and was in position outside Gate 2 (the Main Entrance) after briefly sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to a group of, what would appear to be, day labourers awaiting their access tickets. Today was a most wonderful day with God’s Hand orchestrating all that took place!

Some conversations that took place were with Sbu who refuted that the Bible is God’s Word, as it was written by men. I pointed him to 1 Peter 1:20,21 and also shared the analogy of him writing a love letter to a loved one, using a pen. Who wrote the letter? The pen? Or him, Sbu? Just as Sbu was the author of the love letter using a pen, so God the Author of His Word, the Bible, used men (as the instruments) to divinely record His Words as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is sixty-six love letters to us! While engaging Sbu in dialogue across a walkway, the foot traffic got to hear the Word of God being proclaimed.

A young girl reading our “Are You Ready?” Gospel Tract.

I met a couple named David and Norine Adey who shared the same vision of home-fellowship coming out of the ‘church-building’ teachings of men. God is truly shaking the foundations of men made traditions that do not fit with His Scripture. For a time I have wondered if I was going to go crazy for holding to home-fellowship or going out into the township-communities to have Church, and being alone, but I am now encouraged that there is a remnant here in Pietermaritzburg that also home-fellowship. We are trusting our Lord is leading us into fellowship!

I was later joined by brother Lungisa Zondi and we had some wonderful Church fellowship with believers and teaching from the Word of God outside Gate 2. Who says we have to go to a building to have Church? We also met brother Warren Schultz for the first time who also shared his testimony of the work God has done in his life. He was a bouncer at a nightclub known as Crowded House (in 2008) in Pietermaritzburg and also was a debt-collector. The nightclub was the same place I used to frequent as a wretched sinner myself and was delivered from that life style (in December 2004) by my faith in Jesus Christ through His Grace. It is the same club that Jesse Boyd and Ricky Springer joined me in preaching outside on their way to Nepal via South Africa when they visited us in KwaZulu-Natal last winter (2011).

We also had many other encouraging conversations and we shared the Gospel with five Grade 8 St. Charles scholars opening the conversation with the curved illusion icebreakers. They were believers in Jesus Christ and it was an edifying session with them encouraging them to share the Gospel with their friends.

From L – R : Stephen Southway, Chris Hardie, Gary Crous, Andrew Hardie, Simon Krone and James Patrick.

Other conversations also took place with Lou-Jeane and Richo. Had an opportunity also to preach the Gospel using the Scripture Matthew 12:40 that this is the sign given of the prophet Jonas – this is the true Jesus Christ you need to believe upon:

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. ~ Matthew 12:40

This was truly an amazing and God ordained day with many Gospel tracts handed out, too. You can also view the photos on Facebook in this Album. A video will be compiled, Lord willing, at the end of the ten-day evangelism outreach. Please keep all in prayer who heard and received the Word of God today.

Please keep us in prayer.

Are You Ready?

Handed in the draft yesterday afternoon and received an order of 20,000 (A6 – double sided) Are You Ready? Gospel Tracts in time to commence handing them out this morning. Thank you to Minuteman Printers in Pietermaritzburg for service excellence!

— ooo —

This is truly a profound question – so, Are You Ready? “Ready for what?” might be your response. Well – Are You Ready to meet your Creator God? “Wait,” you might say. “I don’t believe in God!” Or, maybe you might be of the other extreme and say, “Wow, I have never thought of that!!” So, what camp do you find yourself in? Well, let me help. If you answered, “Wait, I don’t believe in God,” then it is like the person who handed you this tract saying “I believe I just handed a tract to a 5ft. 4in. green person.” Just because the person “believed” something, it does not make what he believed to be true. What makes something true is what you believe in is it actually true! So, if you believe that there is no God, then just because you believe this does not make it true, but by your belief you have just proved the Bible correct when it says: “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1). Now if your response was something like, “Wow, I have never thought of that!!” you are living in reality. The very reason for your existence is what is recorded in God’s Holy Word, the Bible, in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 which says: “13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” It also tells us, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27), God also reveals: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). You can see that there is a day when you will die, and there is a day when you will stand before your Creator in judgment. So to repeat the question again: Are You Ready? Scripture warns that “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31). We also receive the prophetic Word from the prophet Isaiah “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king: he will save us” (Isaiah 33:22). So how do you get ready? We are warned to examine ourselves and from Scripture: “8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient,…” (see 1 Timothy 1:8-10). So, if you had to die today, what is your condition before God? Let us look into God’s Holy Commandments, His standard of perfection and holiness, using it as a mirror to see yourself as God really sees you – the Ninth Commandment says Thou shalt not lie – how many lies have you told in your lifetime? Ever stolen (8th Commandment) anything, irrespective of size or value of the object (including piracy of CDs and DVDs)? Have you committed adultery? Jesus says in Matthew 5:27,28 that if you look with lust you have committed adultery in your heart. Are you guilty of transgressing the Seventh Commandment with lust? This also includes fornication (sex outside the bounds of marriage). What about worshipping idols which is the transgression of the First and Second Commandments? This also includes praying to the ancestral dead (necromancy)(see Deuteronomy 18:11). On Judgment Day when God judges by His Holy standard if you have violated any of these Commandments you would be found to be a liar, a thief, an adulterer, a fornicator, an idolater in God’s sight and His wrath against you will condemn you into Hell for all eternity because of your sins against God. You are unable to save yourself from the wrath of God and that is why God the Saviour took on human form in the Person of Jesus Christ – the Son of God. “16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). Jesus Christ lay down His life for sinners, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, died, was laid in a tomb and on the third day was raised to life by God who accepted His sacrifice for His Creation. The Word of God says you must be born again, believing upon Jesus Christ and your “repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21). Do business with God today and call upon Him to save you, for you never know when you will die! Are You Ready to face God? Get yourself a KJ Bible – read and obey it. Cars in the Park 2012

Headed out to Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg to the annual Cars in the Park event to hand out Gospel Tracts, engage people in one-2-one conversations and to lift up the Name of Jesus Christ in the public arena. Please keep a car-guard by the name of Wilfred in prayer who received the Gospel of Jesus Christ and asked that I contact him to share the Good News with his friends and family at his home in Unit 13 Imbali. We will make arrangements to call on his home soon. Also had a very thought-provoking conversation with a Chubb Alarms officer named Clive – please remember him in prayer, too. He told me that he has had three near death experiences. I challenged him that it is possible God wants him to hear this message. Please also keep the Muslim garage attendant handing out pamphlets in prayer – he heard the Truth!

I was later joined by Jono Anderson who brought some more Gospel tracts just as I started to run out. This day was all to the Glory of God. Great and merciful is our Living God – YHVH!

Please pray for all that heard and received the Word of God on this past Sunday May 20, 2012.

Quiz: Are you loving or unloving?

An e-mail received this evening from Brother Gil Neves, a contender of the faith and Truth.

Here’s a quick and simple six-question quiz to determine whether you’re loving (“tolerant”) or unloving (close minded and “intolerant”).

1). You’re sitting in a coffee shop when a woman at another table gets up–leaving her coffee unattended–to get a napkin. As she does, a man walks by her table, pours a powdered substance into the woman’s coffee and quickly exits the shop. You immediately warn this woman of what just happened. Your reaction is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. This is none of your business. Quit interfering with other people’s lives.

2). A small child runs toward a bush to retrieve his ball that rolled into it. You know that the bush contains a rattlesnake nest. You yell out for the kid to stop. Your yelling at this child is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. Who are you to impose your beliefs onto this kid. His parents have a right to raise him how they see fit without your close-minded “snakes are bad” views being forced down his throat.

3). You are woken to the sounds of fire alarms and the smell of smoke in your apartment complex. As you hastily exit your apartment you notice that no one has alerted your elderly neighbors who are deaf. You bang on their door (and even kick it in if necessary) to alert them of the pending doom. This action that you’re taking is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. Have you considered that perhaps this couple is happy where they are? Why wake them from their slumber? If they’re happy, then leave them be.

4). On a dark and rainy night you observe a family in a car heading home in the direction of a washed-out bridge. You holler and flail your arms, making every effort you can to get their attention to warn them. Your behavior is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. All roads lead to their house. Who are you to tell them that the road that they’ve chosen to go home will lead to their deaths?

5). While sitting in your car waiting for your friend in a bank, you observe a man walk into the bank wearing a stocking on his face and carrying a gun. You call 911.This judgment of the man’s intentions is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. “Judge not lest ye be judged!” Who are you to judge this man’s heart. Maybe his intentions are good and he will do no harm to those inside. You’re always so negative and have no faith in other people. You’ve condemned this man already. Jesus would have never done that, He would have befriended him. You need to be more like Jesus.

6). Your friend is going to die in his sins, and when he wakes up on the other side of eternity, will find himself in Hell. You share with him the fact that his unrepentant sin will condemn him before a holy God and that he deserves God’s wrath (just like everyone else) because he’s transgressed God’s laws. You further explain that any of his attempts to purchase God’s forgiveness by his own obedience to the Law or good works is futile because not only are we saved by faith apart from the works and the Law, but God’s grace is not earned, it is a gift. You share with your friend that through the death of one Man, God has provided forgiveness to sinners, but this unmerited favor for sinners is only found in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, who ransomed us with His own blood. God’s only Son took our sin upon Himself on the cross and, in turn, imputed his perfect righteousness to us. You tell your friend that Jesus became a propitiation for him in order to absorb the wrath of God that he deserves. You urge your friend to repent and put his trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. This discussion with your friend is:

A. Loving.

B. Unloving. Insert any of the above “B” answers (or all of them) here.
