Indian floods, idol worship, and The Way to Salvation

On June 21, 2013 a catastrophe took place in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand (which is known as the ‘Land of the gods’ with Hindu shrines built high in the mountains) as can be seen by the photograph below of a submerged idol of the Hindu ‘lord’ Shiva which stands in the flooded River Ganges in Rishikesh. Monsoon torrential rains have caused widespread havoc in many villages and towns across northern India, leading to flash floods, cloudbursts, and mud landslides that have taken the lives of many inhabitants and devotees, and left scores of people isolated, stranded and destitute in this Himalayan region. Many have lost all they possessed. Destruction has come at a huge cost where many blame it on the greed of man, raping the countryside of trees and others have lost all due to their unwise actions of building their houses and other buildings on the flood-plains.

Shriva Flood 1

Here is an online article that shows the pain, suffering, loss of possessions, the devastation that prevailed and the loss of life and death that followed: MailOnline at the Daily Mail in the UK. Another report appears at this link today, June 29, 2013: Over 10,000 people killed in monsoon floods in N. India. The following quote appears at this latter link: “”More than 100,000 flood survivors, mostly Hindu pilgrims, have been rescued till date. People have been evacuated from many parts and rescue operations by the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force are now focused on those areas where still 4,000 people are stranded,” a senior government official said.”

Here is a short history of who this idolatrise god Shiva really is that can be found in part, as recorded here, at Wikipedia:

Shiva is considered the supreme deity, the ultimate source and goal by the Saivite sect. The Pashupati, Shaiva Siddhanta and some other sects view Shiva an equal to, or even greater than the Absolute (Brahman). Shiva’s character, unlike Vishnu is ‘ambivalent,’ as he can be a moral and paternal god, or a god of outsiders, of those outside the Brahmanical mainstream, worshipped in various ways. Several Tantric cults are also associated with Shiva.

In classical Hindu mythology Shiva is the god of destruction, generally portrayed as a yogin who lives on Mount Kailasa in the Himalayas. His body is smeared with ashes, his hair piled up in matted locks. He wears an animal skin and carries a trident. A cobra often serves as his garland and the crescent moon as his hair ornament. He has a third eye, kept closed in the middle of his forehead. He may be surrounded by his beautiful wife Parvati, and their two sons, the six-faced Skanda and the elephant-headed Ganesha.

This is a description of what the One True God Almighty, calls an abomination – evil and wicked. This ‘god of destruction’ is not a god that could save his Hindu devotees. Destruction came and he could not help. He was useless with calamity taking place around him. Here is a wonderful Story that God tells us in the Holy Bible where His prophet Elijah met with the idolatrise Baal worshippers, and shows His power, as it is written in 1 Kings 18:21-40 ~

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

1 Kings 18:22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

1 Kings 18:23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:

1 Kings 18:24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

1 Kings 18:25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.

1 Kings 18:26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.

1 Kings 18:27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.

1 Kings 18:28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.

1 Kings 18:29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.

1 Kings 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.

1 Kings 18:31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

1 Kings 18:32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.

1 Kings 18:33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.

1 Kings 18:34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.

1 King 18:35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.

1 King 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

1 Kings 18:37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.

1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

1 Kings 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

1 Kings 18:40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

We also read of another account in Judges 10 where Israel has once again turned from serving and worshipping YHVH and turned to serving the idol gods of Baalim as we read, as it is written in verses 10-14 ~

Judges 10:10 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.

Judges 10:11 And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

Judges 10:12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

Judges 10:14 Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.

Are you reading and hearing what God is saying. Whilst the loss of any life should be grieved we can learn from the Holy Word of God – in the Holy Bible – that the Creator of the world brings about judgment even in this present age to all who do not fear Him and who do commit heinous crime against Him by their doings. We read in Psalm 9:16 ~

Psalm 9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

We learn much from God’s Word and how He dealt with His people Israel. When ever Israel revolted and rebelled against Adonai (God) in idolatry, God brought correction through Judgment. There is an ‘old saying’: “If you do not want to listen, then you must feel!” And feel Israel certainly did. But the lessons to be learnt is that God doesn’t just bring His Judgment against the Jew – He also brings Judgment against the Gentile – the common man that sins against Him. The Judgment against the Jew and Gentile in the Holy Scriptures is an ensample (example) of what will happen if we do not fear God and keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14). We should clarify a very important doctrine here. God disciplines and chastises those that belong to Him (Leviticus 26:27,28), those who believe upon His Son the Lord Jesus Christ as a loving Father who corrects and disciplines His children with chastening (Hebrews 12:6-8), but God judges with wrath the unbelieving heathen who rejects His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, who chooses to follow other gods and are friends of the world which disqualify themselves and make them enemies of God (James 4:4). That is why we are warned to flee from idols. This doctrine is also encapsulated in Jeremiah 10:24 where we should seek discipline in correction, but not by God’s wrath, as Matthew Henry records in his commentary, so eloquently: “If the Lord has directed our steps into the ways of peace and righteousness, let us entreat him to enable us to walk therein. Say not, Lord, do not correct me; but, Lord, do not correct me in anger. We may bear the smart of God’s rod, but we cannot bear the weight of his wrath.”

Here are further indictments against idol worship:

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.

Psalm 115:2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

Psalm 115:3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Psalm 115:4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Psalm 115:5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

Psalm 115:6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

Psalm 115:7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

Psalm 115:8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

This is the result when idol worshippers, who want to hold to their religious practises that go against God’s Word; then they become full of wrath, even murderous in their evil actions which is not the work of the One True God the Father, but the demonic work  of their father the Devil who wants people to worship gods and to rebel against the authority of their Creator God, as we read ~

Act 19:23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.

Act 19:24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

Act 19:25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.

Act 19:26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Act 19:27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

Act 19:28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

We also read how God reveals His wrath from heaven in Romans 1:18-25 ~

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

God is Holy, Perfect, Righteous, Good, Sovereign, Just, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, the Ancient of days, the Truth and a Consuming Fire who will judge this world in righteousness. God commands us mere mortals to live perfect (Matthew 5:48) and holy (1 Peter 1:16) lives before Him in the fear of God (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14; Philippians 2:12; 1 Peter 1:17).

The only way of escaping God’s wrath on Judgment Day, is through repentance toward God, and our faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21). It is only through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ that a sinner can escape the wrath of God. Peace has to be restored between a Holy God and sinful man. Man made religions expect mankind to work and do religious practices before gods (idols) trying to work their way to being accepted, but the God of the Holy Bible has already done all to save His enemies from His wrath by offering His grace (unmerited favour) through faith (a gift of the Holy Spirit) being His gift (Ephesians 2:8,9) to sinners, that if they will be humbled by His Law (Galatians 3:24) and call upon the name of His Son Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12) through repentance (the goodness of God – Romans 1:4) God will save you and in no wise cast you away, as we read as our Lord Jesus the Christ speaks ~

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

If God Almighty is speaking to your heart now, call upon Him to save you. For that is the reason why our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, died, buried and resurrected to life so that we too may have everlasting life. It comes at a cost. You must die to self and your religious works, and put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. REPENT of your sins today for that is your only hope.

The Face of Evil and Wicked South Africa

This is the sad face of evil and wicked South Africa. When a nation is sold out to the devil and serves no longer the Creator God exclusively, this is what you get – interfaith debauchery. On 28th November 2012 the President of South Africa met with the National Interfaith Council of South Africa (NICSA) which has been dissolved and is now known as the National Religious Leaders’ Council (NRLC). Here are two news articles for the NRLC meeting [(1) and (2)] that took place. They want to resolve “poverty and general social upliftment” together with other issues through an ecumenical system by bringing all faiths together – it will never work! God will not be mocked by having His Son Jesus Christ riduculed with such blasphemy! This is the type of debauchery that we are talking about. Look at some of the other websites here in South Africa that make a mockery of the One True Creator:

I wonder if the “reverend” Ray McCauley seazed the opportunity at the Union Buildings in Pretoria and actually preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unbelievers who were present at that meeting – or is that possibly asking too much? This is what our Lord Jesus Christ said:

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

It is an abomination in the sight of a Holy God that man can blaspheme the One True God who revealed Himself as the Lord Jesus Christ who is LORD of all:

Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Act 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Act 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

Act 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Act 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

Act 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Act 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Act 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Act 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Here are the other blogposts (and a few historical posts) that have called on our President and peoples of South Africa to Repent and Believe the one and only Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ – the ONLY WAY God our Creator has given us:

Scripture warns us:

Proverb 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

And South Africa can learn from the Ugandan President who Publicly Repented! He did not just say he is sorry to the people – his prayer was directed to GOD!

A Response to “Idolaters Must Repent”

Here is a comment received on a blog post “Idolaters Must Repent” that I think would be fitting to deal with the same as a new blog post as opposed to just as an answer to the actual comment received. It will also help in explaining why this ministry exists, all to the Glory of God Alone.

Nonkululeko Mthembu commented on Idolaters Must Repent

I am believe in a Jesus Christ just to the clear… but i just want to know how far is too far in judging? Then where do put the boundary that very visible line dthat says now you have really made this person feel to imperfect for God.? Tell me where in hte bible does God specify a Church God judges us on sins far more then the ones you have outlined here stop targeting it really makes the Gospel look cheap. This week is Shembe next week now when you done targeting andthey feel evil enough right when do you page the bible i follow as well and speak about his love and grace?

Here is the response:

Dear Nonkululeko

Thank you for your comments. I will try best to answer your comment without misunderstanding the points you have made due to the content being fragmented in respect of the grammar and word omissions. I mention this to make sure I am not misunderstanding your comments in any way. I am thankful you have written to me in English.

Are you a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible? It would appear that you have defended the Shembe church with the statement: “This week is Shembe next week …” Do you believe that the Shembe church is right in their worship of Isaiah Shembe as the messiah of the African man? If you answer “yes” to this question, then you are an idolater according to God’s Word and not a Christian, nor are you a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. To believe on Him, you will accept what His Word says. And He, Jesus the Christ (Messiah), said in John 14:6: “… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The main thread of your comments appears to be centred on when one should judge and the fine line of “now you have really made this person feel to[o] imperfect for God.” It is not our intention to make a person feel imperfect before God, but it is the Holy Spirit through His Word that will convict the person of transgressions and show them that they are sinners and imperfect. We merely speak the Truth in love showing what God requires from His Word. Scripture is very clear when it speaks of judgment. Firstly, when a believer uses Scripture it is not the believer who is judging the transgressor, it is the Word of God (Scripture) that is judging – therefore God is speaking. We are told in 2 Corinthians 13:5 that we are to:

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (my emphasis underlining and in bold throughout)

The English word ‘reprobates’ is the Greek word: “G96 ἀδόκιμος adokimos ad-ok’-ee-mos From G1 (as a negative particle) and G1384; unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication worthless (literally or morally): – castaway, rejected, reprobate.” [“Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries” (e-Sword)] So, have you passed the test? Or are you unapproved, rejected, and worthless? To take the test of examining yourself against Scripture is actually having God judge you.

Secondly, we are told that:

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16,17

When you use Scripture it is the Holy Spirit inspired Word of God that is teaching in righteousness. If God ordained that we live according to His holy, perfect and righteous standards and we are to be obedient to His Word, then listen to God speaking to you in His Word!

And thirdly, if a brother professes to know Jesus Christ, but transgresses in his ways, then listen to what the apostle Paul, the called and elect of God, has to say:

11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. ~ 1 Corinthians 5:11-13

The greatest love to be shown to man is the love of Christ. When Jesus speaks in the Gospels it is to warn of impending doom, hell and the wrath of God upon the transgressor of His Father’s commandments. To not make an earnest judgment of the wicked ways of men is to leave them to their own devises and let them walk the broad way to eternal hell and to experience the holy wrath of God against their evil and wicked sin. To warn a person of their idolatry – yes, even the worshipping of false gods and prophets – is showing Christ-like love, the agape love of God to that person. Mercy and grace is offered to the person in transgression by showing them from God’s Word that they are in a very dangerous place. If at any time I am in transgression of God’s commands and His Word, I would want someone to correct me and even openly rebuke me, if necessary, if I have publicly taught a heresy. If there is reason to do so, then do it in love and back it up with God’s Holy Scriptures, and not by Scripture-twisting to fit a false doctrine! For Scripture also tells us that:

5Open rebuke is better than secret love. 6Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. ~ Proverbs 27:5,6

I would rather receive a wound from a friend in this lifetime than to have my ears tickled and be kissed by an enemy that has no care for my soul. Judas Iscariot springs to mind! And so does that ol’ serpent, Satan the devil! If your house was on fire and your loved ones where in danger of being consumed by the fierce flames and I drove past on my way to meet you for a cup of coffee at a coffee-shop, would you think I cared about you, or them, if I never stopped to help at the tragedy. The last thing on my mind would be to keep our coffee appointment when people are perishing. Likewise, I cannot enjoy the comforts of this life while millions of people are on their way to an eternity in an unquenchable fiery Hell, to receive the wrath of God.

In ending, please read the following portion of Scripture and Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary which expounds upon this selected text:

8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 12And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 17Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. ~ 1 Timothy 1:8-17

MHCC ~ vv 8-11 “Whatever tends to weaken love to God, or love to the brethren, tends to defeat the end of the commandment. The design of the gospel is answered, when sinners, through repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ, are brought to exercise Christian love. And as believers were righteous persons in God’s appointed way, the law was not against them. But unless we are made righteous by faith in Christ, really repenting and forsaking sin, we are yet under the curse of the law, even according to the gospel of the blessed God, and are unfit to share the holy happiness of heaven.”

vv 12-17 “The apostle knew that he would justly have perished, if the Lord had been extreme to mark what was amiss; and also if his grace and mercy had not been abundant to him when dead in sin, working faith and love to Christ in his heart. This is a faithful saying; these are true and faithful words, which may be depended on, That the Son of God came into the world, willingly and purposely to save sinners. No man, with Paul’s example before him, can question the love and power of Christ to save him, if he really desires to trust in him as the Son of God, who once died on the cross, and now reigns upon the throne of glory, to save all that come to God through him. Let us then admire and praise the grace of God our Saviour; and ascribe to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, three Persons in the unity of the Godhead, the glory of all done in, by, and for us.”

Now you be the judge of my intentions.

Idolaters Must Repent

Recently I received another comment to a blog post I posted about the false religion of the Shembe Church under the title Doctrines of Demons. Here is the latest comment which I received:

i wont say much but a religion can only explain itself the way it wants to so its not up to chritians to decide or coment on a religion thay dont understand. as a nazareth baptist church member i wont make any conclusions about the way the chritians worship Jehovah under their leader Jesus since im not part of their worship but all we need to now is what he teaches in the name of Jehovah since we also believe in him through Shembe ~ Nkosi Thusi

I will deal with this specific comment under this blog post.

This is not only a reply to the Shembe followers, but also to Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Roman Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, New Agers, Scientologists, Humanists, Confucius followers, Hari Krishna followers, and all the other false religions and cults of this world that fall under ecumenicalism, the nations that you find yourself in are just like Judah – you are idolaters who worship false gods, and prophets, in idolatry.

Listen to the clear warnings from God Almighty – your Creator:

11Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: ~ Jeremiah 16:11, 12

and

19O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. 20Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? ~ Jeremiah 16:19, 20

Now read the aforementioned Scripture portions in context below when God spoke to His prophet Jeremiah to give a warning about Judah’s idolatry. This idolatry applies to you, too, for God’s Words will never pass away:

10And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God? 11Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: 13Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. 14Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 15But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. 16Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. 17For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. 18And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. 21Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD. ~ Jeremiah 16:10-21

This One True God has said through His prophet Isaiah:

22For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. ~ Isaiah 33:22

and

21Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 24Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. ~ Isaiah 45:21-24

God, who truly is merciful, revealed His Saviour in Himself when He entered this world to save sinners:

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ~ John 3:16-18

And Jesus the Christ, God Almighty – He that saves, the anointed One who is sent – gave you the ONLY WAY to be saved on Judgment Day:

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ~ John 14:6

I plead with you to repent of your idolatry and be saved (see John 3:3) through the Lord Jesus Christ. He is your only hope.

36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. ~ John 3:36
