Bethlehem ~ Commissioner Street and PEP Stores

Doing Gospel tract distribution this morning December 20, 2014, walking into town with my wife and sons and sharing the Gospel with many people hitch-hiking along Commissioner Street going home for the holidays, some to Ficksburg and others to the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Many, many more heard and received the Word of God.

21 … Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
~ Luke 14:21b-24

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. ~ Psalm 3:8

Earlier this morning/afternoon my wife accompanied me as we did Gospel literature distribution in the town centre and open-air preached outside Pep Stores from Isaiah 45:22 ~

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

To God be the glory alone!

This is Brother Thabo Mokoena who listened to the preaching. Unbeknown to us we had met his wife Sister Nthabiseng on Thursday afternoon whilst visiting Brother Pierre and his wife Sister Irene at their home for coffee. I had been told that their help/children minder was married to an assistant pastor at a local location Church. Well, it so happens that Thabo finds himself about two blocks across from meeting his wife Nthabiseng on Saturday "not knowing why" but listens to the preaching. What are the chances of meeting two spouses on two different days when one has never met them before in an unfamiliar town, for me, being Bethlehem? The chances about 80,000 (2011 census 76,667) to 1. Only a Divine appointment by God could order these meetings! Prior to preaching my wife and I had asked where the LORD wanted me to preach! I truly believe our Father in Heaven was showing us that He orders our steps and is Sovereign in His doings "for I am God and there is none else"! Please pray for Thabo as he seeks the LORD wanting to know where/how he should go about to study theology!

HalleluYah!
