The Deception of Sathya Sai Baba

For a reported estimate of 6 million plus followers of Sathya Sai Baba who prophesied his death at age 96 there now appears a void for the followers as to who they are to follow and worship as this man professed to be “God” and he was seen as one by his devotees. The prophesy was false as he died at the age of 84 or 85 (depending on what reports you read). What he failed to tell his devotees is that there is only One true God who is the Lord Jesus Christ and that He is eternal. What the devotees of Sathya Sai Baba should now realise is that God is an eternal Spirit being and that death has no hold over Him. Sathya Sai Baba, who has led millions astray, is just a man who has now met his Creator for the Holy Bible says that it is appointed for man to die once and then the judgment (see Hebrews 9:27). There is no re-incarnation as many caught up in his faith believes.

Here is an article worth examining titled SAI BABA ON HIS DEATH, AND REPORTS OF OTHER INCIDENTS BY MR. AND MRS. RATAN LAL. A portion of the article appears hereunder:

When will Sathya Sai Baba die?

The prophesy Sai Baba allegedly made about himself ‘leaving his body’ at the age of 96 was not documented until he stated this finally in a discourse after 2003. Not, that is, unless one trusts the account of Mr. V. Balu of Bangalore, whose book ‘The Glory of Puttaparthi’ made the claim that Sai Baba had foretold this in the 1980s. However, according to Sai Baba’s previous published statements (see inset scan) he would leave the body at the age of 93 or 94 maximum. Since then Ratan Lal told Anne Irene that Sai Baba had repeated the prediction of 96 years personally to Ratan Lal. Moreover, Sai Baba had also told him that was nobody’s business when he would leave the body – he could even prolong his life if he deemed necessary! It certainly seems he was covering himself for whenever it actually happens!

In a further news report run by the Telegraph (Article: Sathya Sai Baba’s death triggers fight for his £5.5 billion empire), this imposter was known to have said:

He was never slow to proclaim his own divinity, insisting that his arrival on earth was prophesied by Jesus, that he was the one who originally sent Jesus to Earth and that he was clearly the Lamb of God because his name – Ba Ba – is the noise a sheep makes.

As Christians we know what the Holy Bible reveals and nowhere in our Scriptures the blessed Lord Jesus Christ prophesied Sathya Sai Baba’s arrival on earth and the Word of God reveals John the Baptist’s testimony:

29The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 36And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! ~ John 1:29,36

This is blasphemy against the Most High God professing to be ‘someone’ he certainly was not! To all the devotees of this imposter, the Word of God proclaims:

1There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. ~ Luke 13:1-5
